About limetax
limetax is an AI enabled roll up in the accounting space, transforming how CFO and tax services are delivered to German SMEs. We acquire profitable tax firms and scale them with an AI powered operating platform, driving step changes in productivity and service quality. The team previously built a roll up to unicorn valuation, executing over 100 M&A transactions and scaling to 500 employees.
Role
Join the very early team (pre-launch) and work directly with the founders in our Berlin HQ to write the AI transformation playbook for an entire industry. As intern or working student (M&A), you will own end-to-end projects across M&A and strategy, with an initial focus on identifying & sourcing high-quality M&A opportunities. The role can be expanded over time and also converted into a full-time position. High responsibility and steep learning curve.
Profile
* Student or recent graduate with outstanding academic track record
* Experience in consulting, IB, PE, or a fast-paced startup
* Highly analytical, structured, and execution driven
* Comfortable to interact with M&A targets, including cold calls
* Strong interest in M&A, technology, and company building
* Professional German and English is a must
