Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will support our team in creating and developing social media and content initiatives for both German-speaking and international markets.

You will:

* Create content for our social media channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok) - from ideation and concept development to copywriting, publishing, upload, and performance monitoring
* Translate complex IoT topics into clear, engaging, and audience-specific content across text, visuals, and audiovisual formats
* Produce social media assets such as short videos, reels, stories, thumbnails, and simple animations using tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, or Figma
* Contribute creative ideas, analyse performance metrics (e.g. reach and engagement), and derive actionable recommendations for optimisation
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (content, campaign management, product marketing, sales, and international market teams)
* Adapt content for different markets in a culturally relevant way while ensuring alignment with the Deutsche Telekom brand
* Apply your understanding of the Chinese market as well as European markets (e.g. Sweden, Spain, UK) to shape content strategies
* Support the creation of culturally adapted communication approaches tailored to local audiences and business environments
* Monitor international social media trends and identify relevant developments to evolve our global content strategy

Your Profile
You are studying media and communication, digital media, marketing, design, or a comparable subject - or you are currently taking a gap year - and are eager to gain hands-on experience in an international B2B tech environment.

Ideally, you bring:

* First practical experience in social media content creation (e.g. personal projects, internships, or working student roles)
* Strong storytelling skills and a good understanding of platform logic and audience-oriented communication
* Confidence in using platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Reddit
* Experience with content, video, and design tools
* Interest in B2B communication and the ability to simplify complex technical topics
* Strong intercultural awareness and understanding of international audiences
* Knowledge of the Chinese market and European market dynamics
* Ability to localise and culturally adapt content (beyond simple translation)
* Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken); additional languages, especially Chinese, are a plus
* Analytical mindset; experience with social media analytics tools is an advantage
* Good MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
* Creativity, curiosity, ownership, hands-on mentality, and teamwork skills
* Flexibility for spontaneous shoots, interviews, or events
