Job Summary

This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing lab setting. The Quality Trainee will support the Quality team by performing various laboratory tasks, assisting with data collection and analysis, and learning fundamental quality control processes to ensure product excellence.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist senior Quality Lab technicians and engineers in conducting various tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products according to established procedures.
* Document and record test results accurately and meticulously, ensuring data integrity.
* Support the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to schedules.
* Participate in root cause analysis of quality issues and contribute to the development of corrective and preventive actions.
* Learn and apply quality control methodologies, such as statistical process control (SPC) and measurement system analysis (MSA).
* Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns and improve processes.
* Prepare basic reports and presentations summarizing test results and quality trends.
* Adhere to all company safety regulations and quality management system procedures.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics), Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Basic understanding of quality control principles is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and develop within the quality field.
* Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently when required.
