Job Description
The Client Reporting Intern will support FactSet's Reporting Managed Services team, which delivers customized, high-quality financial reports for some of the world's leading asset managers. This internship offers hands-on exposure to client reporting workflows, data integration, and automation tools used to streamline reporting processes. Interns will gain valuable insight into how financial data is structured, validated, and presented to clients.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Support the client reporting process, including assistance with report generation and reporting automation
*
Learn how financial data flows through FactSet systems, including exposure to ETL processes
*
Gain foundational knowledge of system architecture, databases, SQL, application servers, and API integrations
*
Develop basic skills in SQL and programming/scripting (e.g., Java, VBA, or similar languages)
*
Gain exposure to Microsoft system administration and AWS infrastructure, working alongside technical experts
*
Use monitoring tools to observe server performance and optimization
*
Collaborate with global teams and participate in a project focused on improving reporting efficiency or technical workflows
*
Gain exposure to FactSet reporting solutions such as Vermilion and Publisher

Required Skills and Traits:

University students in their 3rd year or above, or recent graduates in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields
*
Strong interest in financial markets, reporting, or data-driven workflows
*
Analytical mindset and ability to work with complex data

Curiosity about technology, client service and willingness to learn.
*
Solid communication skills in English (written and verbal)
*
Experience or interest in SQL or scripting languages (e.g., VBA, Python) is a plus
*
System Administration interest/hands on experience is a plus
*
Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn from professionals
