Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Designer: Generalist, you will be a champion for the people who use our products and services, creating delightful experiences through emotional design. You will be responsible for translating requirements into hypothesis and exploring them with users through research methods and facilitation. Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Explore User Needs: Learn about users' emotional connections with products and services, and understand unmet needs through research methods and facilitation.
* Craft Emotional Design: Create delightful experiences by influencing visceral impact, behavioral influence, and reflective consequence.
* Collaborate with Teams: Work with cross-disciplinary teams to translate requirements into hypothesis and explore them with users.
* Develop Design Solutions: Create designs that reflect the practical and aesthetic in business, while primarily serving people.
* Facilitate Research: Engage with users through research methods and facilitation to uncover emotional connections with products and services.

Preferred Education

Associate's Degree/College Diploma

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

* Interest in Human-Centered Design: Exposure to design principles that prioritize user needs and emotions.
* Basic Understanding of Research Methods: Familiarity with research methods and facilitation techniques to uncover user needs and emotional connections.
* Awareness of Emotional Design: Curiosity about the role of visceral impact, behavioral influence, and reflective consequence in creating delightful experiences.
* Exposure to Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Participation in team-based projects or activities that involve working with diverse stakeholders.
* Curiosity about Design Principles: Interest in the practical and aesthetic aspects of design in a business context.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

* Familiarity with Design Tools: Exposure to design software and tools that support human-centered design principles.
* Basic Understanding of Business Context: Curiosity about the practical and aesthetic aspects of design in a business context, including how design serves people.
