This is your opportunity to join WSP's Property & Buildings team as an Electrical Engineering Intern. As a third-year university student, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting complex building projects while working alongside experienced engineers who are shaping resilient, sustainable communities. This role offers exposure to real-world design challenges, mentorship, and meaningful professional growth.
Your Impact
* Support senior electrical engineers in the design and development of electrical systems for complex building projects.
* Prepare electrical drawings and design documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
* Shadow engineers and contribute to the delivery of multidisciplinary building design projects.
* Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
* Ensure design outputs align with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
* Contribute to innovative, sustainable, and future-ready building solutions.
The Skills That Set You Apart
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering at an accredited Ontario university.
* Completion of three years of your undergraduate engineering program.
* Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles, systems, and applicable standards.
* Exposure to electrical system design across institutional, commercial, or mixed-use facilities.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
* Strong curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a collaborative engineering environment.

Compensation
Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $24.00 - $32.25 per hour
MB & ON: $22.50 - $30.25 per hour
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $21.50 - $30.25 per hour
