Job Title
AI Transformation Intern
Job Description
Position Summary
We are looking for an intern to support AI-related initiatives across Services and ISC. The role will focus on business information organization, use case documentation, research, meeting follow-up, communication materials, and low-risk AI tool exploration under guidance.
This is a hands-on support role for someone who is curious about how AI can improve real business workflows. The intern is not expected to independently manage end-to-end projects, make governance decisions, or develop production systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Use case documentation: Help collect business inputs and summarize AI opportunities into simple use case notes, including business pain point, current process, possible AI support, owner, and next step.
* Meeting and action follow-up: Attend selected AI meetings, prepare concise meeting notes, capture action items, and follow up on basic status updates with relevant stakeholders.
* Research and benchmarking: Research internal and external AI examples and summarize them into short case cards that explain scenario, value, key learning, and possible relevance to Services / ISC.
* Communication material support: Support the preparation of one-pagers, PowerPoint pages, newsletters, workshop materials, and AI Champion sharing content.
* Light AI tool exploration: Use approved tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Excel, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, or other internal AI tools for low-risk tasks such as drafting prompts, summarizing documents, cleaning simple data, or preparing demo examples.
* Testing support: Help prepare sample test cases, record findings, and organize feedback for selected pilots or tool trials under the guidance of business and technical owners.
* Tracker support: Maintain simple lists or trackers for AI use cases, meeting actions, training feedback, or document status. This is coordination support, not full project ownership.
Typical Deliverables
* Simple AI use case summaries and intake notes.
* Meeting minutes, action lists, and weekly status snapshots.
* Benchmark case cards and short research summaries.
* Draft slides, one-pagers, newsletter content, and workshop materials.
* Prompt drafts, simple demo examples, test notes, or feedback logs for approved AI tool trials.
* A clean tracker of AI ideas, actions, owners, and next steps, where needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor or master student, preferably in business, operations management, industrial engineering, information management, data analytics, supply chain, computer science, or related fields.
* Good structured thinking and willingness to turn messy information into clear notes, tables, slides, or summaries.
* Good English and Chinese communication skills, especially written summarization.
* Comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint; able to work with basic trackers and presentation materials.
* Curious about AI tools, business process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
* Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow up on small tasks independently.
* Basic awareness of confidentiality, data privacy, and responsible AI use.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience using AI tools for summarization, research, translation, presentation drafting, simple data organization, or workflow support.
* Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Python, SQL, or similar tools is a plus, but not mandatory.
* Previous internship, school project, or club experience related to business analysis, consulting, operations, healthcare, supply chain, digital transformation, or AI applications is a plus.
Working Boundaries
* The intern will not own production approval, go-live decisions, compliance sign-off, or sensitive business decisions.
* The intern will not independently handle sensitive customer data, production credentials, or external commitments.
* All AI tool usage must follow company-approved tool, data privacy, security, legal, and quality requirements.
What the Intern Will Learn
The intern will gain practical exposure to enterprise AI transformation: how business teams identify AI opportunities, how ideas are turned into use cases, how pilots are tested, and how AI stories are communicated to business stakeholders.
Short Pitch for Candidates
This role is a good fit for someone who wants to learn how AI is applied in real business operations, not just in demos. You will help teams organize ideas, prepare materials, try approved AI tools, and support early-stage AI initiatives in a practical enterprise environment.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
Indicate if this role is an office/field/onsite role.
