Job Description Summary
GE Vernova offers an opportunity to join the CoE Calculations Team within the Hydro Power business near Bilbao. This internship provides the opportunity to contribute to engineering analysis and technical support activities within a highly specialized and international environment. This position requires daily on-site presence at the office.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
* Provide technical support for Hydro products, mainly during the basic design phase for different products, by identifying technical solutions aligned with contractual requirements and applicable design criteria, while maintaining the SQDC policy.
* Learn the main components of hydro power plants and their design criteria.
* Apply technical knowledge and perform finite element analysis on specific components.

Qualifications / Requirements
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or currently in the final year of university.
* Familiarity with calculation, simulation, or modeling tools.
* Understanding of engineering design or calculation methodologies.
* Experience in multicultural or international work environments.
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
* Effective problem identification and problem-solving skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills, proven leadership skills, and a positive attitude.
* Work Style; Full on-site presence is mandatory. Remote work is not applicable for this position.
* If Contracted in Spain: Non-national candidates are responsible for ensuring they meet the minimum documentation requirements to be employed in Spain, including: NIE Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) ; Spanish bank account.
