Highly creative design and merchandising studio based in central Barcelona, providing design and production to market leading high street brands. Such as Inditex, Bestseller, LPP, USA Market, UK Market, Spain and France Market and many more.

The group are within one of China's largest garment manufacturer's with connection to the best fabric mills and production factories across Asia.

The team in Barcelona are looking to expand their design team as the business continues to grow.

This role would be to assist the senior design team with their daily duties, also to support the company by working independently on design work. While learning the overall market and operations of the fashion industry as a designer.

Primary tasks would be in support of:

+ Moodboards
+ Sketching
+Technical files and fitting proto samples
+ Managing development timelines and ready-dates with the sample rooms in China
+ Print pattern design
+ Fabric sourcing.

Perfil

We are looking for a professional, hardworking attitude and a general interest within fashion and business to fulfill this role of design intern. The candidate must have the desire to learn and is able to adapt to working as part of a close team to complete tasks and daily working.

Additional requirements are:
+ BA Fashion design degree (Or in working)
+ Strong computer literacy and design execution in a creation platform (Adobe/Procreate)
+ Fluent English; Spanish is also strongly preferred.

Previous experience would be an advantage but not essential, as learning and working will be very practical
