The summer internship in the Quality department offers a supportive role in ensuring the success of quality initiatives for the Home & Accessories and Fine Jewelry product lines. Ideal for a motivated student, the role provides hands-on experience with digital tools such as Power BI and Power Automate, while enabling collaboration with departments including New Product Development, Regulatory/Laboratory, Quality Inspection, and Supplier Quality. The internship presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to real-world projects that drive quality improvement and compliance across the organization. Working closely with experienced team members, the intern will assist with document management, workflow documentation, and migration activities, all while developing practical skills in process management and digital solutions. This experience provides valuable exposure to quality operations and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the products that define our brand.

This position is a hybrid role that is based out of our New York City office. The rate for this position is $25 per hour.
Key Accountabilities
* Assist with organizing and categorizing archived documents to help improve team efficiency. Support the team in updating and maintaining existing Power BI dashboards by performing data entry and simple modifications. Learn basic dashboard functionalities and contribute to routine tasks as needed.
* Help document existing Power Automate workflows by creating clear and concise records of current processes. Assist team members in updating workflow documentation under supervision. Gain exposure to workflow tools and learn about process documentation best practices.
* Support the migration of existing workflows to the new environment by following detailed instructions and checklists provided by the team. Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure workflows operate correctly after migration. Receive guidance and feedback throughout the migration process to build practical skills.
* Demonstrate safety leadership by adherence to workplace safety policies and procedures. Recognize and positively reinforce good safety behaviors while delivering immediate, specific and constructive feedback to employees who demonstrate unsafe work behavior.
Required Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field
* Proficient in English, both written and oral
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
* Basic programming experience (any language)
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, or Power Apps
* Experience with programming languages such as VB/VBA or Python
