Essential Functions:
* Coordination of product buildability points for a new type vehicle launch
* Utilize Zeus tracking system for implementation of countermeasures required to achieve buildability in new type product
* Work with CEP-Hub and R&D to reduce complexity of product design/commonize similar components to improve manufacturability as well as reduce input costs
* Work with production team support to identify top build concerns during ramp-up and series production of a new type vehicle and coordinate improvements with CEP-Hub and R&D
* Interface regularly with Chief Engineer Production (CEP) Hub in Sindelfingen and across a global network, as well as Research and Development (R&D) to identify and implement product improvements
* Utilize CAD Software (Smaragd/Engineering Client) for digital Buildability confirmations
* Engagement in design and integration of tooling to promote better vehicle quality
Other Regular Daily Tasks:
* Assistance to the Chief Engineer Production management staff in special projects
* Assist with meeting coordination and scheduling for buildability related meeting rounds
* Projects centered around CAD design to create fixtures to improve the fit and function of the vehicle

Qualifikationen

Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.Education:
Student in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills
* German language skills preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
* Data Analysis and Problem Solving Skills
* Any working experience with MB Applications: Smaragd, Engineering Client, Dialog, Zeus (preferred, not required)
