YOUR ROLE
No less than 90% of world trade is carried by sea. Every day, we transport vast quantities of goods across more than 200 shipping routes.
At the heart of the maritime line, the Area Manager optimises the pricing policy for their geographic zone and acts as the primary point of contact for CMA CGM agents around the world.

Reporting to the Commercial Line Manager, your mission is to implement the commercial and pricing policy for your zone in order to ensure and optimise vessel utilisation.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Area Manager, at the heart of the CMA CGM Group's business, your responsibilities are as follows:
* Implement the commercial and pricing policy for your zone in line with the directives of the Market Manager and Line Manager
* Process all quotation requests from your agents
* Analyse performance and variances against budget in order to propose corrective actions
* Oversee marketing activity as a true expert on your zone: market studies, statistics
* Regularly report performance indicators to line management
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Required
* Master's degree (Bac+5) in International Business, Business, Management or Supply Chain
* Fluent English, written and spoken
* Genuine commercial drive - enjoyment of negotiation
* Proficient in Excel: pivot tables, advanced formulas, databases
Desirable
* Commercial or client-facing experience (internship, association, other)
* Knowledge of Incoterms and international logistics
* Second language: Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese
* International experience or multicultural background
