Job Description:
Are you a student who doesn't want to sit still this summer, but instead wants to gain relevant work experience in a dynamic laboratory environment? For our project office in Amersfoort, we are looking for working students to strengthen our team during the months of July and August.
Do you have a background in life sciences, chemistry, or another lab-related field? That's a plus. However, if you are studying something else but have an interest in process-oriented and precise work, we also encourage you to apply.
What will you do?
As a working student within the project office, you will support the coordination and processing of research assignments. You will play an important role in ensuring a smooth workflow between clients, logistics, and the laboratory.
Your tasks will include:
* Registering and checking incoming assignments and samples
* Verifying completeness and identifying discrepancies
* Processing data and results in systems
* Supporting the release and preparation of samples for shipment
* Coordinating with colleagues in logistics and the laboratory
* Contributing ideas for process improvements
You will work at the intersection of administration, logistics, and content-an ideal combination if you want to understand how laboratory processes work in practice.
Qualifications:
Who are you?
* You are currently a student (HBO/WO or MBO level 4)
* You are available in July and August (at least 3-4 days per week)
* You work accurately and in a structured way
* You are stress-resistant and can switch between tasks effectively
* You have a good command of the Dutch language
* You have an affinity with laboratory work or a life sciences background (a plus, not required)
* You are proactive and not afraid to ask questions
