Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

Global Business Services (GBS) delivers high quality services in the areas of Order to Cash (O2C), Source to Pay (S2P), Record to Report (R2R), Controlling & Reporting and Hire to Retire for adidas companies and subsidiaries located globally.

The Global Business Services (GBS) PMO & Transitions team delivers large-scale projects, transitions, and governance in a global enterprise.

PURPOSE

This internship is explicitly designed for fresh MBA graduate. The role focuses on structured learning, guided execution, and foundational exposure to PMO and transition disciplines, stakeholder management, data analysis and data visualization, strategic alignment, support quality assurance efforts, process improvements, and adherence to governance frameworks.

The intern will support defined activities under close supervision and mentorship from the Senior Manager - PMO & Transitions.

Key Responsibilities

PMO & Transition Support (Foundational)

* Assist in supporting ongoing projects and transitions through data collection, tracking, and coordination

* Maintain basic trackers for milestones, actions, risks, and dependencies under guidance

* Support knowledge transfer (KT) tracking, readiness reviews, and transition checklists

* Assist with go-live and stabilization documentation

Governance & Reporting Support

* Update standard PMO governance templates (action logs, RAID logs, status trackers)

* Support preparation of simple status summaries and dashboards

* Assist in compiling presentation material for leadership and governance forums

Analysis & Documentation

* Perform basic Excel-based analysis to identify trends, gaps, or delays

* Support creation and updating of:

* High-level project / transition plans

* Process overviews and documentation

* Governance and operating model documents

* Ensure documentation is well-structured, accurate, and version-controlled

Coordination & Administrative Support

* Support meeting logistics including agendas, minutes of meetings (MoMs), and action tracking

* Coordinate with internal teams to collect updates and inputs

* Maintain organized repositories on SharePoint / Microsoft Teams

Continuous Improvement (Learning-led)

* Review existing trackers and templates to identify simplification or standardization opportunities

* Apply MBA concepts (operations, finance, strategy, governance) to suggest improvements under supervision

Eligibility

* MBA / PGDM graduate (Freshers only)

* Specialization in Operations, General Management, Finance, or Strategy preferred (not mandatory)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Must Have

* Strong willingness to learn and ability to work with structured guidance

* Good analytical skills and comfort with numbers

* Working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint

* Clear written and verbal communication skills

* High attention to detail and execution discipline

Good to Have

* Exposure to project management or analytics concepts through coursework

* Familiarity with collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, or similar
