What You Will Do
1. Write articles that change perception
You will produce blog posts and articles end-to-end for the SPayLater, ShopeePay, Shopee, and Lentera Dana Nusantara blogs, each tied to a clear branding objective:
* Pricing & transparency: correcting the lingering misperception on the public perception of our interest simulations, SPL tier/level guides, and 0%-installment positioning.
* Addressing negative sentiment: turning recurring complaints and risky queries (repayment fees, gagal bayar, fraud cases, "cara membatalkan") into reassuring, accurate, trust-building content.
* High-traffic keyword clusters: owning educational and comparison queries (e.g. simulasi spaylater, bunga spinjam, cara bayar tagihan, competitor comparisons vs. competitors).
* Trust & regulatory: OJK-licensed positioning, SLIK/BI checking education, distinguishing legal vs. illegal lenders.
* Campaign anchors: tactical SEO posts that support live pushes of activations and/or campaigns (e.g. SPL participation at Jakarta Fair 2026).
2. Monitor, optimize & report on SEO
* Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and impressions for both brands across blogs and product/landing pages.
* Run on-page and content audits by identifying thin, outdated, cannibalizing, or under-optimized pages and propose fixes (titles, meta, headings, internal links, content refreshes).
* Watch how SPayLater and SPinjam appear in AI Overviews / generative search and flag where summaries misstate our pricing, terms, or surface negative/impersonating sources.
* Produce a holistic monthly SEO performance report per brand - what's ranking, what's moving, what's at risk, and what to write next that feeds the content calendar and our PR/comms partners.
3. Own the content engine
You'll maintain and build out the team's article calendar/tracker (the live SEO blog calendar), logging briefs, keywords, rationale, draft/translation status, review sign-offs, and publish links. Ensuring the whole pipeline stays visible and on-schedule. Over time, you'll help shape what we write next, not just execute it

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Must-Have
* Strong copywriting background: you can write clear, persuasive, accurate content and adapt tone for a regulated financial brand. Bahasa Indonesia fluency is essential; strong English for drafting and translation.
* Solid grasp of technical & on-page SEO: keyword research, search intent, title/meta/heading optimization, internal linking, and how content ranks.
* Comfort with AI/LLM tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) as part of your writing and research workflow. You can prompt well, iterate, and edit AI output rather than copy-paste raw output.
* Organized and reliable with trackers, deadlines, and multi-stakeholder review cycles.
Nice-to-Have
* Familiarity with GA4, Google Search Console, and an SEO suite (Ahrefs / SEMrush / Similarweb).
* Awareness of generative-search / AI Overview optimization as an emerging discipline.
* Interest in fintech, lending, BNPL, or the Indonesian credit/regulatory (OJK) landscape.
* An eye for what not to write i.e. instinct for compliance-sensitive claims in financial content.

We run brand and communications for two of Indonesia's most-used credit products: SPayLater (BNPL) and SPinjam (personal loan), both under the Shopee ecosystem. A big part of our brand job happens off-app, specifically in search. When someone Googles "bunga SPayLater," "simulasi cicilan," "cara bayar tagihan," or "pinjaman online legal OJK," what shows up and what the AI Overview summarizes shapes how millions of people perceive our pricing, safety, and trustworthiness.

AI search summaries still parse our old rates instead of our current ones, negative talking points get repeated, and competitors own keyword clusters we should be ranking for. This role exists to fix that through one well-written, well-optimized article at a time
