Introduction

Within the High Income desk - Credit Strategies Department of Eurizon Capital SGR, we are looking for a just graduated and interested in Finance/Asset Management who will cooperate with the team and with other Departments when necessary.

Activities

The intern will be involved in the in the following activities:
* Provide quantitative and analytical support to Fund Managers investing in funds managed by the High Income team within Credit Strategies.
* Participate in the setup, evaluation, execution, and management of an investment's lifecycle through new issue and secondary transactions.
* Perform fundamental research on High Yield transactions and relative-value analysis to reach investment conclusions and make recommendations.
* Track bond spreads and price movements of securities held in portfolios.
* Produce periodic sector updates and daily market information, as well as ad hoc client and internal presentations

What you will learn

You will be involved in the High Income team which is part of the Credit Strategies team.
The intern will join a team focused on the High Yield market. The intern will assist Fund Managers across the different credit funds in making investments decisions. Responsibilities include carrying out qualitative & quantitative analysis of potential primary & secondary investment opportunities and helping monitor securities held in the portfolios.
The intern will be an active member of the investment team, working alongside senior professionals with opportunity to contribute throughout the investment cycle.

Requirements

Qualification: Master's Degree / Laurea Specialistica in Business, Finance, Accounting

Skills/knowledge:
* Collaboration skills: Works effectively in cross functional team environment.
* Communication skills: Clearly articulates his/her point of view verbally and in writing, fostering confidence when sharing/presenting information.
* Dependability: Reliable, responsible, dedicated, committed, team player that fulfills obligations.
* Languages: Fluent in English and Italian
* Strong analytical and financial modelling skills

Selection

The selection process is divided in two phases: you will carry out a remote video interview and, if successful, we will invite you to an interview with colleagues from the concerned structure. In any case, you will receive feedback regarding your application.
