We are offering a comprehensive 6-month internship in Banqueting & Events that will provide valuable experience and enhance your professional qualifications. This position offers an immersive opportunity to develop skills in event planning and execution within the hospitality industry.
As the Banqueting & Events Intern, your primary responsibilities will include:

* Maintaining and updating event function sheets and event boards with meticulous attention to detail
* Coordinating event logistics, including setup arrangements, decor, and audio-visual requirements
* Attending and actively participating in pre-event briefings to ensure thorough understanding of event specifications
* Assisting in the transformation of venues according to client requirements and event themes
* Contributing to the development of client quotes and proposals under supervision

This internship offers an intensive learning experience in the hospitality industry. You will gain practical knowledge, develop a professional network, and acquire valuable skills in multitasking and event management

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

* Current enrolment in a recognized tertiary institution, with official documentation confirming eligibility for internship,
* must be enrolled in a qualification related to Events management
* Commitment to a maximum 6-month internship period, without exception
* Demonstrated passion for excellence in service delivery and collaborative teamwork
* Meticulous attention to detail, essential for maintaining operational excellence
* Proven track record of determination and resilience in academic or professional pursuits
* Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
