As an intern at Tao Chinese Cuisine known for its inventive approach to traditional Chinese dining within InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, you would assist the kitchen and front-of-house teams in daily operations. Tao blends authentic Chinese culinary techniques with modern presentation and high guest service standards.
In this role you could be involved in tasks such as :
- Supporting chefs with food preparation and basic kitchen duties under supervision
- Learning and applying proper food safety and hygiene practices
- Helping maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and service areas
- Assisting service staff with setup, guest interaction, and dining experience flow
- Observing high-end culinary and hospitality standards in a luxury restaurant setting
