Your role

Do you have an analytic mindset? Do you like when things are moving fast? Are you passionate about advanced quantitative techniques that lead to tangible results? For our Quantitative Risk Internship Program we are looking for someone who can help us to:

* measure and control risk in an accurate and transparent way
* develop quantitative rating, exposure, and stress models that are compliant to regulatory requirements and support the business
* build models that aggregate all risk types
* make sure these models are fit for their purpose

Your team

You will be working in the International Retail Models team within the Retail Credit Risk Models in Krakow, which is part of the group-wide Quantitative Risk Methodology department.

Your expertise

* You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Econometrics, or similar).
* You have a basic understanding of statistical and econometric methods and are eager to apply them in practice.
* You show interest in banking and financial markets and are motivated to learn more.
* Experience with quantitative modeling is a plus, but not required.
* You are keen to contribute to project development and support project management tasks.
* You have strong organizational skills and the ability to work within deadlines.
* You are an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills.
* You are a flexible, resilient team player with a positive attitude.
* You are adaptable, able to work across teams and functions.
* You have strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out).
* You are an expert user of R and/or Python.
* You are good in managing planning and deliverables.
