We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Trainee to join our People & Culture team in Dakar. This role offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end recruitment in a fast-paced, professional environment, with the opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners and contribute meaningfully from day one.

What You'll Do
As a Talent Acquisition Trainee, you will support daily recruitment activities and help deliver high-quality experience for both candidates and stakeholders. You will be expected to work accurately, professionally, and with a strong sense of responsibility while supporting the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Conducting telephonic candidate screenings.
* Managing recruitment processes end to end using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
* Coordinating closely with hiring managers and recruitment agencies to align on requirements, timelines, and priorities.
* Preparing and updating weekly and monthly recruitment reports.
* Tracking and maintaining records for third-party workers.
* Screening applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating assessments.
* Ensuring a professional and consistent interview experience, including timely follow-up with candidates.
* Supporting proactive candidate sourcing through platforms such as LinkedIn.
* Conducting working references and background checks with accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
* Providing reliable administrative and coordination support during high-activity recruitment periods.
* Supporting ad-hoc and project-based Talent Acquisition initiatives as required.

You also have:

* A university degree in Psychology, Law, HR, or Business (a Master's degree is an advantage).
* Some working exeperience in HR or Talent Acquisition
* Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written.
* Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Intermediate Excel skills.
* The ability to work collaboratively while also managing tasks independently.
* The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks without losing focus.
