Role Summary
We are seeking a talented and driven intern to join our team and contribute to the ongoing development of our Yard Management System (YMS). Our YMS orchestrates the intricate dance of electric vehicles within our expansive factory yard, a hub managing approximately $800 million worth of assets at any given moment. This system serves as the nerve center for our post-assembly operations, ensuring the efficient flow of our revolutionary electric vehicles. In this role, you will work on a real-world, high-stakes project that directly impacts the success of a leading electric vehicle manufacturer and contributes to the future of sustainable transportation. This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in software development, logistics, and automation while working in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
* Optimize Vehicle Movement: Refine and expand the system to track and manage complex vehicle movements within the yard, ensuring seamless transitions from assembly to shipping.
* Enhance Inspection Workflows: Develop and enhance automated inspection workflows to empower factory personnel to perform quality checks with precision and efficiency.
* Improve Mobile Functionality: Work with our existing mobile app to improve its functionality and user experience.
* Build the Future of YMS: Design and implement new features and improvements that directly impact the efficiency and reliability of critical operations.
* Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside a dynamic team of experienced engineers and developers, learning from their expertise while contributing your own unique perspective.
Qualifications
* Passion for cutting-edge technology and an eagerness to make a tangible impact on the future of electric vehicle logistics.
* Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Knowledge of Python or JavaScript programming languages
* Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL
* Familiarity with AI concepts and LLM usage
* Familiarity with Git, GitLab, or other version management systems
* Familiarity with contemporary web API architectures such as REST or GraphQL
* Cloud Exposure: You've experimented with or are interested in cloud environments (like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
* Motivation to grow and learn

This is a full-time, paid internship with a monthly salary.
