Overview The Commercial Finance Intern will support the Commercial Finance team by assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and business insights. This internship provides hands-on exposure to core commercial finance activities and helps build foundational skills in financial analysis and business partnering, within a corporate environment. Responsibilities Expectations · Support the Commercial Finance team in preparing monthly management reports, dashboards, and financial summaries. · Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, including data collection and variance analysis. · Perform basic financial analysis on revenue, margins, and key performance indicators (KPIs). · Maintain and update Excel trackers. · Support ad-hoc analysis on pricing, profitability, and business performance. · Assist in preparing materials for internal stakeholders. · Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data used for reporting and analysis. · Participate in process improvement initiatives and documentation of finance processes. · Carry out other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Commercial Finance team. Learning & Development Opportunities · Exposure to commercial related responsibilities and business partnering. · Hands-on experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and management reporting. · Development of Excel and communication skills. · Understanding end-to-end commercial finance processes in a corporate environment. Qualifications Education · Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related disciplines. Skills & Competencies · Strong interest in commercial finance and business analysis. · Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail. · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. · Good communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. · Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Education · Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related disciplines.
