SUMMARY OF TEAM / DEPARTMENT
The Compliance Department holds the responsibility of ensuring that Income adheres to regulatory requirements within the constantly dynamic and evolving regulatory landscape. The Compliance Department reports to the Head of Compliance. The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with other Business Units ("BUs") and stakeholders to navigate and assess regulatory risks.
ABOUT THE ROLE

You will get hands-on experience in designing practical solutions to manage regulatory risks and play an active role in fostering a strong compliance culture at Income. This role is not just about rules-it's about shaping how we protect data and build trust
You will be part of the Regulatory Compliance Section, which is part of the wider Compliance Department, working alongside other teams in Market Conduct Compliance and AML Compliance giving you exposure to the broader compliance landscape. You can expect being involved in projects, collaboration, and opportunities to learn from industry experts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Monitor and assess our personal data protection policies and practices to ensure compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Spot potential risks in how data is collected, used, disclosed, stored and help design smart solutions to manage them.
* Review and evaluate Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs) to understand business risks and recommend improvements.
* Assist in enhancing processes and systems to make DPIAs more efficient and ensure changes are implemented smoothly.
* Support the management of data breaches and security incidents, including preparing internal reports within tight timelines.
* Help with internal reporting on data protection matters and make sure key stakeholders stay informed.
* Review and improve training content for staff and representatives on data protection topics-make compliance easy to understand and impactful!
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum qualification: GCE A-Level or Polytechnic Diploma (or equivalent).
* Proficient in MS Office and its applications.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to share ideas clearly
* Able to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy.
* Takes ownership of work, demonstrates accountability, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
* Strong relationship-building, negotiating, and influencing skills.
* Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a natural problem solver who loves tackling challenges
