TotalEnergies has developed a strong expertise in the trading and shipping of oil and biofuels. Trading and Shipping entities are based in Geneva, Paris, Houston and Singapore.

TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping (T&S) is the European trading and shipping hub in Geneva of the trading of oil and oil products, which brings together very large teams around the trading activities. It is in charge of all physical trading and shipping of crude oil and refined products on behalf of the TotalEnergies Company. It has been an active participant all over the supply chain as well as on the derivatives paper market in order to manage the market risk for a long time.

Activités

The Trading business is fast-moving, dynamic and complex environment: it is necessary to understand the business and react quickly.
As an Accounting Intern, you will report to a Senior Accountant. Focusing on the Shipping sector, your main responsibilities will be the following:

* Controlling and accounting for invoices and overheads
* Making payments and issuing invoices
* Reviewing the results of spot voyages
* Assisting with monthly closings and reporting tasks
* Assisting with VAT and tax declarations
* Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements and audit processes
* Contributing to projects (process automation, operational improvements…)

Profil du candidat

Candidate profile

* You are pursuing a Master Degree in a Business School, in Finance or Accounting, and ideally enrolled in your final year.
* You have excellent English and French verbal and writing skills
* You have strong analytical skills, a good team spirit, and a great ability to communicate.
* Details orientation, organization and rigour, are essential for this position.
* Excellent Knowledge of Excel is mandatory and VBA
* A tri-partite internship agreement is mandatory
