About the team
The Audience Strategy & Profiling team operates at the intersection of business analytics, marketing, and consumer experience. The team is responsible for defining and implementing data-driven audience strategies, developing advanced consumer segments, and enabling with actionable consumer insights personalized engagement in omnichannel environment. By leveraging data analytics, behavioral insights, and sophisticated profiling methodologies, the team plays a critical role in shaping how PMI understands, segments, and interacts with its consumers, thereby fostering more relevant, effective, and responsible engagement in support of a smoke-free future.
Internship Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically minded intern to join the Audience Strategy & Profiling team. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in consumer data analysis, segmentation, and personalization initiatives. The selected candidate will work with real datasets, contribute to the development of audience strategies, and support profiling initiatives that enable targeted consumer engagement across multiple markets.
What You'll Work On
* Support the development and enhancement of consumer audience segments using behavioral, transactional, and demographic data sources.
* Analyze large and complex datasets to derive actionable insights on customer behavior, preferences, and engagement patterns.
* Contribute to campaign targeting strategies by translating analytical findings into data-driven recommendations.
* Utilize tools such as Python, SQL, Excel, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI) to perform analyses and create visualizations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
* Document analytical methodologies and present findings in a clear, structured, and professional manner to stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
* Academic background in data science, statistics, business analytics, marketing analytics, or a related discipline.
* Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex datasets.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, and Excel.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Power BI is considered an asset.
* Foundational understanding of customer segmentation, CRM, or digital marketing principles is advantageous.
* Demonstrated curiosity about consumer behavior and a strong interest in deriving insights from data.
* High level of attention to detail, combined with a structured and methodical approach to problem-solving.
