Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an ambitious summer intern who wants to gain experience in a growing M&A Tax practice. As a summer intern you will work directly with senior team members. From day 1, you will be part of the project team for various ongoing tax due diligence or tax structuring projects and will assist the team in creating high-quality deliverables in an international and performance-oriented environment.

As part of the Tax team, the successful individual will work on a variety of projects and assist with tasks such as:

* Review datarooms to identify information provided in tax due diligence projects and ensure datarooms are appropriately monitored for new disclosures;
* Update requests for missing information on due diligence projects;
* Assist in drafting client reports on due diligence projects (with respective guidance and input from experienced team members);
* Assist in project pitches to clients, e.g. by producing pitch decks.
* Ensure smooth project execution by preparing relevant legal documents and client contracts.
Requirements:

* Masters student in Law or Economics / business administration at a Swiss university. A background in Tax is not a requirement, but a strong plus, if you have completed any respective courses;
* You have a bachelor's degree from a Swiss university in one of the abovementioned fields and have graduated with a grade of 5 or higher.
* Interested in M&A Tax and/or broader Corporate Tax; high-level understanding of the Swiss tax system;
* Excellent verbal and written communication in German, English and preferably also French (not a must). German native speaker;
* A real team player with an entrepreneurial mindset;
* Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
* Basic understanding on the use of AI;
* Swiss citizenship;
