Legal Trainee for 12 months (fixed term) at 50

Lonza's Legal Department in Basel (Switzerland) is looking for a legal trainee to support simple contracts review, mainly Confidentiality Agreements, for a duration of 12 months (fixed term) at 50%. It is usually possible to work distributed over all days of the week.

What you will do:
* Main tasks are the responsibility for the internal database, including archiving of contracts and collaboration with Lonza`s external service provider and the creation, review and negotiation of simple and standardized contracts, mainly Confidentiality Agreements, for the various business units under supervision of the responsible in-house counsel.
* The trainee will also be responsible to obtain signatures on all finally negotiated contracts, correspond with the opposing party to obtain a fully executed version and file it with the Contract Insight data base.
* Depending on requirements, aptness and availability the trainee may be requested contribute to other legal or administrative tasks required by Lonza's Legal Department.

What we are looking for:
* Minimum: Bachelors in Law.
* Fluent in English and good understanding of German languages.
* The candidate shall have a diligent working method. In addition, the trainee is expected to have a quick perception and interest in legal issues.
