At Hyatt, we believe our purpose is to care for people so they can be their best. As a Human Resources Intern, you will support the HR team in delivering exceptional colleague experiences that align with Hyatt's culture of care, inclusion, and service excellence.
This internship provides hands-on experience in HR operations within a luxury hospitality environment, where colleague engagement is as important as guest satisfaction. You will contribute to maintaining Hyatt's high standards in talent management, employee relations, and organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Support
* Assist in sourcing and screening candidates for various hotel departments
* Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications
* Support onboarding processes to ensure new colleagues experience Hyatt's welcoming culture from day one
* Prepare employment documentation and onboarding materials
2. HR Administration
* Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HR systems
* Assist with preparing contracts, letters, and HR correspondence
* Support attendance tracking, leave records, and payroll input coordination
* Ensure compliance with Hyatt policies and labor regulations
3. Colleague Experience & Engagement
* Support Hyatt's colleague engagement initiatives and recognition programs
* Assist in organizing events, wellness activities, and celebrations that reflect Hyatt's inclusive culture
* Help address colleague inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness
* Promote Hyatt's core values: empathy, integrity, respect, inclusion, experimentation, and wellbeing
4. Learning & Development
* Coordinate training sessions, including logistics and attendance tracking
* Support orientation programs and Hyatt brand culture training
* Assist with tracking learning progress and development initiatives
5. HR Projects & Compliance
* Participate in HR projects such as engagement surveys and policy updates
* Support initiatives that enhance colleague satisfaction and retention
* Ensure adherence to Hyatt brand standards and ethical practices

Requerimientos del candidato/a:
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources/ Human Capital Management, Psychology or related field
* Interest in pursuing a career in HR within the hospitality industry
* Previous internship or exposure to hospitality is advantageous
* Basic understanding of HR principles and employment practices
* Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage)
* Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with Hyatt standards
