Activities

Accelerate the Digital Transformation of a Flagship Offshore Asset
Join a strategic team at the heart of digital transformation in offshore operations.
Within the Block 17 Development Team at TotalEnergies E&P Angola, you will contribute to optimizing one of the Group's highest-performing deepwater offshore asset portfolios.
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of petroleum architects and technical experts involved in key asset development decisions.
Operating at the intersection of data science, operations, development engineering, asset management, and digital innovation, you will gain unique expertise combining data, digitalization, and a deep understanding of the industrial challenges facing the energy sector
Main Responsibilities
During your assignment, you will support the development and sustainability of high-value digital tools for Block 17 development activities.
* Business Process Automation: contribute to transforming manual and time-consuming activities into structured, efficient digital workflows.
* Industrial Data Management and Analysis: analyze and consolidate data from multiple sources to improve access to information and support decision-making.
* Digital Solution Development: participate in the enhancement and industrialization of visualization, automation, and decision-support tools.
* Business Support: identify business needs and translate operational challenges into appropriate data-driven solutions.
* Strategic Studies Contribution: support work related to the project portfolio, long-term planning, and asset management strategies.
* Data Science and AI Deployment: contribute to the integration of advanced analytics, data science, and AI approaches to support operational activities.

Candidate Profile

Profile We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Engineering degree or Master's degree in Data Science
* Strong data and analytical mindset
* Interest in complex industrial challenges
* Ability to bridge business needs and digital solutions
* Comfortable workingin across-functionaland international environment
* Proficient in Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform
* Solid knowledge of statistics, probability, and applied mathematics
* Basic knowledge of Python
* Professional English proficiency (minimum B2 level) and intermediate French proficiency (minimum B2 level)
Preferred Qualifications
* Initial experience in data science, data analytics, or digital transformation
* Experience with Alteryx, Dataiku, or similar tools
* Understanding of process automation
* Knowledge of digital workflows
