We are hiring a V.I.E. (Volontariat International d'Entreprise) for 24 months (2 years) based in Seoul, South Korea.

Based in Seoul, our entity specializes in developing high-purity precursors for ALD/CVD processes. We bridge the gap between fundamental molecular chemistry and the industrial requirements of the global semiconductor market. Working with us means your research has a direct, visible path to powering the next generation of electronic devices.

You will join a focused, high-talent R&D team of experts. Our structure ensures every team member has a significant voice, direct mentorship, and end-to-end visibility on projects from the lab bench to the customer.

We operate with an agile, collaborative mindset where knowledge-sharing is constant and the environment is highly professional yet accessible.

English is our primary working language for all technical documentation and internal meetings.

As we are based in Korea, Korean language skills are a strong plus to help navigate local vendor relationships and daily life, though not strictly required for technical success.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As a VIE R&D Chemist, you will take ownership of the synthesis cycle for next-generation materials.
Your mission focuses on the following key pillars:
- Synthesis & Laboratory OperationsDesign and execute the multi-step synthesis of novel organometallic and silicon-based precursors.
- Perform advanced purification techniques (distillation, sublimation, recrystallization) to meet semiconductor-grade purity standards.
- Handle air-sensitive materials daily using Schlenk lines and glovebox techniques.
- Analyze chemical structures and purity using NMR, evaluate thermal properties of new compounds through TGA and DSC.
- Interpret analytical data to troubleshoot synthesis routes and optimize molecular stability.
- Contribute to IP and reporting by drafting concise R&D reports and providing data for new patent applications, present findings during internal technical meetings.
- Promote a "Safety First" culture, actively participating in laboratory safety activities and risk assessments for hazardous materials.

Are you a MATCH?

Must have:
- Education: MSc
- Expertise in organometallic or inorganic synthesis.
- Proficiency in air-sensitive chemistry (Schlenk line, glovebox).
- Analytical skills: NMR, TGA and DSC.
- Safety-First Mindset: Rigorous adherence to lab safety protocols.
- Communication: Clear reporting and collaborative team spirit.
- Fluent English (technical reporting and meetings).

Nice to have:
- Knowledge of handling pyrophoric, toxic, or combustible materials.
- Korean language skills (conversational).
- Persistence when facing complex R&D challenges.
