Nature of On-the-Job Training - Production Trainee (NAPS / Company Trainee)
* Work under basic supervision to assemble and test machine parts, components, and systems as per production requirements.
* Operate one or more machines on the shop floor following safety and quality standards.
* Support painting and finishing activities for machine parts or components when assigned.
* Work in a shop-floor environment, involving 8-9 hours of standing work each day.
* Training activities may require lifting and carrying materials up to 8 kg as part of regular tasks.

Eligibility: Candidates who have completed their Diploma course.

Introduction to Caterpillar BCP: Join Caterpillar and seize the opportunity to experience one of our esteemed manufacturing set up team as a NAPS / Trainee within the Building & Construction Products division in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. In this pivotal role you will work for assembling backhoe loader, skid steer loader and support new project requirements in the shop floor.

Introduction to NAPS: In an endeavor to promote apprenticeship in India, National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) has been launched by the Government in August 2016. The scheme entails financial support to establishments undertaking apprenticeship programs.
