We are looking for an Accountant & Finance Apprentice to join us at Liberty Shared Services (LSS) in Bradford. This opportunity is suitable for a recent Graduate looking to kickstart their Accounting career in Liberty Shared Services (LSS).

Job purpose:

As an Accounting & Finance Apprentice, you'll play a crucial role in our team, handling finance functions for (COMPANY NAME) and its partners. This opportunity not only offers hands-on experience but also provides the chance to pursue an ACCA or CIMA qualification through our development program.

What will you be doing…
* Conduct month-end accounting tasks, including journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Perform data processing activities such as raising invoices and conducting bank reconciliations.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
* Participate in ad-hoc projects to support team objectives.

We tend to look for people with…
* Recent university graduates. We're open to all degrees, as long as you have a passion for finance and accounting.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Location

This role is based at our Bradford office (BD4) with a hybrid working arrangement including a mix of remote and office working.

The qualification of this role is funded by the UK apprenticeship levy which has the following eligibility requirements:
* You must be 16 years old or above
* You must either be a UK citizen or have resided within the UK or EEA for the past three consecutive years, with settled status in the UK
