What you'll do

As a Digital Technology - IT Support Apprentice, you'll be supporting the provision of day-to-day technology-based services and assisting in validating the deployment of new applications and architecture across the domain, with a primary focus on Private Cloud platforms, including Cloud Infrastructure, IaaS, PaaS, and OpenShift.
Day-to-day you'll be:
* Delivering production management, infrastructure, and application support services across relevant platforms
* Collaborating with stakeholders including production managers, domain leads, product owners and senior engineers to ensure platform resilience
* Supporting the build and maintenance of platform environments, making sure deployments meet quality standards
* Ensuring infrastructure and applications comply with mandated standards, processes, and security controls
* Working with senior engineers to continuously improve platforms through automation and Infrastructure as Code practices

The skills you'll need

We're seeking passionate and curious individuals to join our Digital Technology Apprenticeship. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in technology who enjoys problem solving and understanding how things work. You'll have a logical and analytical approach, an inquisitive mindset, and a strong desire to learn. No prior technical experience is required, just enthusiasm, curiosity, and the motivation to develop digital skills in a real-world environment.
You'll also need:
* The ability to maintain a strong customer focus
* Good problem solving skills and a proactive mindset, with the ability to challenge and offer solutions
* A numerate skillset with strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to change
* Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively

Eligibility

Our apprenticeships are designed for people new to the subject. If you already have substantial experience or qualifications in this area, you may be overqualified. Please check our FAQs before applying. You'll also need to have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme. Unfortunately, this role does not meet Skilled Worker Visa requirements.
