Their main duties and responsibilities include:
* Setting up, operating and troubleshooting injection molding machines
* Monitoring the machines during production, checking for any abnormalities
* Maintaining a record of machine settings and shot size
* Inspecting the quality of finished products to ensure they meet specific standards
* Performing routine machine maintenance and cleaning
* Adjusting machine settings to optimize production speed and quality
* Reporting any machine or production issues promptly
* Adhering to all safety and health regulations in the manufacturing environment
* Assisting in packing and shipping of the final products
* Ordering machine parts and supplies as needed
