Inputting and assisting in the management of the MEP services delivery, health and safety and subcontractor performance and wellbeing, whilst liaising with the client, main contractor and consultants. To learn and develop core knowledge and skills showing, drive and enthusiasm whilst taking responsibility for their own professional development.

You'll be responsible for:
*
Working within the project team, under direction, communicating and coordinating with colleagues.
*
Assisting in the analysis, rectification and completion of the MEP design, learning the business's management processes whilst developing their engineering understanding.
*
Assisting in the coordination and liaising of project sub-contractors, sub-subcontractors and suppliers.
*
Assisting in the coordination and management of the interfaces between packages.
*
Liaising and coordinating with key project stake holders such as the client, design and construction teams.
*
Assisting in the identification of risk and the production and implementation of mitigation plans.
*
Assisting in the incorporation of modern method of construction, learning about digital technologies and prefabrication.
*
Assisting in the implementation of Mace's standards & project strategies, gaining a basic understanding a of these documents.
*
Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You'll need to have:
*
A developing knowledge of an MEP engineering systems including installation techniques, best practice, engineering processes, prefabrication and single system commissioning requirements, understanding the fundamentals on completion of their apprenticeship.
*
A developing knowledge of construction build elements, including sequencing and dependencies to ensure consideration, collaboration and co-ordination with build elements, understanding the fundamentals on completion of their apprenticeship.
*
A developing knowledge of commercial management to allow commercial control of a packages, inclusive of the procurement processes, change control, programme impact and cost to complete, , understanding the fundamentals on completion of their apprenticeship.
*
A developing knowledge of planning processes and management, with sufficient understanding of key construction release requirements, critical path, tasks/works scheduling and commissioning activities, understanding the fundamentals on completion of their apprenticeship.
*
A developing knowledge of health, safety & welfare core elements such as working from height, electrical safety, fire safety, logistics and lifting, understanding the fundamentals on completion of their apprenticeship.
*
A developing knowledge of quality assurance process' and management and commissioning of single systems as well as the integration of systems through cause and effect, BMS and IST integration periods, understanding the fundamentals on completion of their apprenticeship.
*
Developing their ability to undertake rule of thumb design/basic design calculations during the analysis of designs.
*
A developing knowledge of digital engineering technologies or prefabrications (C2P), understanding the fundamentals on completion of their apprenticeship.
*
Working towards completion of a Mace apprenticeship.
*
Working towards a relevant BTECH/HNC (or equivalent).
*
Relevant CSCS Card.
*
SMSTS Health and Safety training.
