Working Student - Internal Audit (all genders)

For our office in Hamburg, we are looking for dedicated

Working Student for Internal Audit (all genders)
Part time and fixed term (6 months)

Key responsibilities:

* Perform testing of SOX controls, including walkthroughs, design testing and assessment of operational effectiveness
* Identify control and process deficiencies as well as improvement opportunities
* Communicate effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders on the importance of controls, a strong control environment and the role of audit related improvements
* Support additional audit-related projects as required

Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled student in Accounting, Audit, Finance, Economics or a related field
* Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
* Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
* Reliable, structured and detail-oriented working style
* High motivation, willingness to learn and team-oriented mindset
* Good understanding of internal control requirements, accounting processes and audit practices
* Solid MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

First experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) is a plus
