Join us as we transform immunology and deliver medicines that help autoimmune patients get their lives back. argenx is preparing for multi-dimensional expansion to reach more patients through a rich pipeline of differentiated assets, led by VYVGART, our first-in-class neonatal Fc receptor blocker approved for the treatment of gMG, and with the potential to treat patients across dozens of severe autoimmune diseases.

For the expansion of the bioanalytical team, we are looking for a junior scientist who has already gained experience in a laboratory environment.
You bring a strong drive to generate high-quality results, working in close collaboration with both the bioanalytical team and project teams. You will join a dynamic, informal, and stimulating environment where teamwork is key and where you and your colleagues collectively strive to achieve ambitious goals.
The position is based at our facility in Zwijnaarde, Belgium, with daily on-site presence expected.

Work description
Your responsibilities
* Participate in the development of bioanalytical assays (ELISA, MSD, Gyros platforms) to support non-clinical and clinical studies,
* Plan and execute experiments independently, including interpretation, reporting, and presentation of results,
* Assist in finding creative solutions to unexpected challenges,
* Actively contribute to project teams, organize your work effectively, understand priorities, and complete assignments accordingly,
* Show eagerness to learn new techniques and share your expertise with others.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Pharmaceutical and Biological Laboratory Technology, or a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences or Industrial Engineering,
* 1-2 years of prior laboratory experience is a plus,
* Familiarity with essential statistical and data analysis tools such as Excel and GraphPad Prism,
* Knowledge of and hands-on experience with bioanalytical techniques or platforms such as ELISA or MSD is an asset,
* A team player with enthusiasm and a strong focus on accuracy in execution and reporting,
* A proactive mindset with attention to quality, precision, and detail
* Strong communication skills,
* Good oral and written proficiency in English.
