The SEM Team Lead is responsible for leading the success of clients' online marketing programs by providing thought leadership on campaign strategies and optimization and building strong relationships and establishing clear lines of communication with clients, partners, and internal staff members. The SEM Lead is analytical and uses problem-solving capabilities to assure flawless program execution to meet and exceed stated objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the relationship with clients or internal stakeholders, ensuring their SEM campaigns are effective and achieving business goals.
* Lead the development of SEM strategies, from keyword research and ad copywriting to bid management and performance optimization.
* Provide regular performance reports, actionable insights, and recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders, clearly communicating the value and results of SEM campaigns.
* Continuously analyze campaign performance and implement strategies to improve performance, grow ROI, and increase client satisfaction.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and adapting SEM strategies to meet their goals.
* Work closely with creative, content, and analytics teams to ensure alignment of messaging, targeting, and landing page optimization.
* Lead and mentor a team of SEM specialists, offering guidance on campaign execution, optimization, and strategy.
* Directs and manages the daily workflow of all client programs, including initiation and management of projects across departments.
* Oversee the team in their delivery ensuring the latest industry best practices are in place while also driving continuous improvement.
* Identify areas of growth opportunities (or limitations) that may exist in terms of tracking, measurability and campaign optimization.
* Creates and manage measurement plans across channels and agencies to ensure proper set up of campaigns.
* Demonstrates clear, effective communication across multiple platforms (Teams, email, virtual meetings, etc.), fostering collaboration and ensuring seamless information exchange.
* Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
* Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams.
* Estimate and allocate resources (team, budget, tools).
* Foster a collaborative, motivated, and productive team environment.
* Implement best practices for project management and improve methodologies.
* Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure accountability.
* Provide recommendations for improving project workflows and team efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:
* Proven experience of 5 years in SEM platforms and full understanding and management of the most important buying platforms.
* General knowledge with respect to set up and troubleshooting of tracking pixels (Floodlight tags for example)
* Bachelor's Degree/Technical Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience in advertising.
* Good English communication level C1 and above
* Work in a data driven environment.
* Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office products (Microsoft in general).
* Full understanding, management, and experience of at least 3 of the most important buying platforms UIs and reporting functions, such as Google Ads, Bing, Skai and Search Ads 360.
* Excellent leadership skills.

* Google Analytics (Required).
* Campaign manager 360 (Required).
* Excellent presentation skills, experience presenting campaign performance and pitching new strategies.
* Excellent administrative and documentation skills.
* Demonstrable ability to manage large budgets is a must.
* Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.
* Experience with technical troubleshooting, such as campaign tagging, over/under deliveries and industry specific flags.
* Ability to deal with a large volume of requests and know how to prioritize workload.
* A team player who can handle stressful situations and deadlines.
* Data Visualization experience highly desired (Data Studio, Tableau, BI)
* Project Management Skills (Required): Proven experience in Scrum Master Methodology, Time Management, Excellent Communication Skills with a Team and Clients, Experience Leading Teams, Directs and Manages the daily workflow.
* Project Management Skills (Plus): CAPM, PMP
* Soft Skills (Required): Leading through Motivation, Developing Emotional Intelligence, Critical Thinking, dealing with difficult people: Why They Act That Way and How to Deal with Them.
