About the role
You will join a dedicated on-site team of six colleagues in Glamsbjerg, working together to ensure high-quality production and recipe execution. This is a permanent full-time position with standard working hours of 07:00-15:00 or 08:00-16:00, depending on scheduling needs. The role requires a degree of flexibility, as some days may involve slightly longer or shorter shifts based on production demands. Strong sensory awareness and good taste evaluation skills are essential, as you will be involved in assessing recipe samples and finished products. To succeed in this position, you must be fluent in Danish and English, enabling effective communication across departments and with internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Production Planning & Coordination
* Coordinate the production plan with Supply Chain and Area Managers.
* Ensure production output aligns with planned sales volumes.
Recipe Management & Quality Assurance
* Prepare sample batches of recipes before production to confirm they meet specifications.
* Work closely with Quality and R&D teams to ensure finished goods comply with all requirements.
* Manage and utilise finished goods and building blocks that fall outside specification.
* Investigate causes of specification failures and partner with Area Managers to identify preventive actions when issues are not production- or technology-related.
* Maintain an efficient flow and usage of building blocks.
* Stay informed about allergen requirements and product specifications.
Rework & Stock Management
* Minimise rework throughout the year.
* Ensure rework stock remains below defined thresholds.
* Prevent long-term storage of building blocks.
* Enable the use of building blocks with minor defects in suitable recipes.
* Help avoid customer complaints related to colour or taste.
Operational Assistance
* Assist the Purchasing Manager and production teams by applying SAP knowledge where needed.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across production and quality processes.
Qualifications and skills
* Experience in food production, manufacturing, or a similar process-driven environment.
* Good taste and knowledge of food and dairy products.
* Strong understanding of product specifications, quality standards, or recipe-based production.
* Ability to work effectively across departments.
* Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
* Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems (advantageous).
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Fluent Danish and English- is a must.
