Student Assistant for our Nordic Private Equity and M&A team (Copenhagen)

The Nordic PEMA team is market-leading, currently consisting of c. 20 specialists across Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Oslo. We structure and place TR solutions - primarily Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) insurance - and assist with TA services including insurance due diligence in connection with Nordic and international M&A transactions, working closely with global insurers in London, Europe, and beyond. Our client relationships extend during the entire lifecycle of their investments, and our clients include private equity funds, institutional investors, and leading corporates.
Our Nordic PEMA team is growing, and we are therefore looking for a Student Assistant to join our office in Copenhagen (Nordhavn).
Your opportunity
As a Student Assistant with us, you will work on a range of exciting tasks including:
* Assisting in supporting our clients throughout the investment lifecycle, from structuring insurance solutions and due diligence services through negotiations and final placement.
* Preparing legal documents, reports, and presentations.
* Collecting and analyzing data on insurance policies and relevant statistics.
You will work closely both with our Danish TR team and the wider Nordic PEMA team on both Danish and pan-Nordic transactions as well as servicing portfolio companies of. This is a unique opportunity to develop and gain experience within M&A in a dynamic role while developing your legal, financial, risk management, commercial and negotiation skills.

An opportunity to combine your studies with flexible live working experience, approx. 15-20 hours per week and where we will plan your working hours with consideration for exam periods, etc.
What we are looking for
* Student at the University of Law or Business focusing on law and/or economics (cand.jur., cand.merc.jur., cand.merc. or similar) with excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
* Ability to thrive and a desire to challenge yourself in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment without compromising on quality is a must in our world.
* As a person, you are ambitious, commercially minded, and a strong team player. You take responsibility for your tasks and see them through.
* Furthermore, you work well both independently and as part of a team and are happy to take initiative for solutions and assistance.
* Knowledge of M&A, contract negotiations and/or insurance from your studies is an advantage, but not a requirement.
