Job TitleCompetitive Intelligence Manager

The Competitive Intelligence Manager supports both Travel Distribution and Regional organizations by delivering actionable insights on key industry developments and Amadeus competitors' product capabilities. The role focuses on analyzing how competitors' solutions evolve, identifying potential threats to Amadeus' product portfolio, and framing strategic questions that require further assessment.
Key Focus Areas:
* Evaluate competitor product offerings and functional evolution, including features, technical approaches, integration models, and capability gaps vs. Amadeus.
* Conduct targeted deep dives on specific competitors or product domains, assessing commercial positioning, product strategy, technical enablers, monetization logic, go-to-market approach, and functional enhancements affecting Amadeus' competitiveness.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead monitoring of industry trends
* Track key developments in direct and indirect competition.
* Identify risks these developments pose for Amadeus.
* Validate assessments with relevant stakeholders.
* Determine if a competitive deep dive is needed and who should manage it (Competitive Intelligence team, client team, etc.).
Perform competitive deep dives
* Define scope with the client team and identify relevant stakeholders.
* Lead or coordinate content creation for deep dives.
* Consolidate findings and identify strategic questions to address.
Support TRD and Commercial organizations
* Respond to ad hoc requests regarding competitors' actions.
* Contribute to defining next steps in Competitive Intelligence for TRD.
* Assist Strategy, PM, and Sales teams in understanding competitive advantages.
This role prioritizes product-level intelligence-features, APIs, workflows, technical decisions, UX, and commercial packaging-while contextualizing findings within broader market developments when relevant.
