The challenge
At Kave, product is at the heart of everything we do. It defines who we are, how we grow, and the impact we have on our customers lives.
For decades our product vision has been lead by Francesc Julià, Kave's founder, shaped with passion, intuition and a deep understanding of the industry, building a brand rooted in design, quality and authenticity. More recently, we have taken important steps to strengthen how we operate: bringing more structure, clarity and alignment across teams while preserving the essence of what makes Kave unique.
Today, we are looking for someone to take this responsibility to the next level. Someone who is deeply passionate about product, a true maniac of the furniture and design industry, someone who observes, questions and cares obsessively about how things are made, how they look, how they feel and how they live in our customer spaces.
The Chief Product Officer (CPO) will take ownership of one of the most critical functions in Kave: leading our product organization into its next stage of maturity while staying true to its roots. This is not about reinventing what we are.
It is about refining it, elevating it and scaling it.
We are looking for a leader who will help us build a product engine that is:
* more coherent, across categories and collections
* more rigorous, in how ideas become real products
* more connected, to both customer and industrial reality
* and more agile, in a fast-changing global market
This role sits at the intersection of design, engineering, manufacturing and market insight, ensuring that every product we bring to market reflects a clear intention, strong execution and attention to detail.
Ultimately, this is an opportunity to shape the future of Kave through product,
building on everything that has been created so far, while preparing the company to scale globally without losing its identity.
Scope of responsibility
The CPO will lead the entire product function end-to-end:
* Range & Category Management
* Product Strategy & Roadmap
* Design Team
* Product Engineering
The role will work in close partnership with:
* Operations (manufacturing, engineering, planing, supply chain)
* Commercial teams
* Brand & Marketing
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Vision
* Define and execute a clear, coherent product strategy aligned with Kave's brand, positioning and commercial ambitions.
* Build a strong product vision, translating market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape into clear product direction.
* Ensure consistency and clarity across categories, avoiding fragmentation and redundancy.
* Define medium and long-term product roadmaps aligned with growth priorities.
* Build a deep understanding of customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape.
* Translate insights into clear product opportunities and decisions.
2. Product Excellence: Design, Quality & Relevance
* Drive design excellence, ensuring that Kave's products stand out in aesthetics, functionality and originality.
* Ensure products deliver a strong balance of beauty, usability, quality, and commercial viability.
* Push for higher standards of quality and detail, both in perceived value and real durability.
* Build a strong identity in materials, finishes, and product language.
3. Industrialization & Product Feasibility
* Ensure all products are designed with manufacturability, scalability, and cost in mind.
* Act as a bridge between design ambition and industrial reality, ensuring ideas translate into viable products.
* Work closely with engineering and manufacturing to guarantee efficient product industrialization.
* Improve decision-making around materials, construction, and production processes.
4. End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management
* Oversee the full product lifecycle: from concept and prioritization to launch and performance tracking.
* Define clear prioritization frameworks, balancing speed, impact and complexity.
* Ensure strong coordination between teams to deliver products on time, at target cost and at expected quality.
* Continuously refine the product portfolio based on performance, feedback and strategy.
5. Cross-Functional Alignment
* Ensure strong collaboration between product, design, engineering, operations and commercial teams.
* Act as the central node that connects market demand with product execution.
* Improve interfaces with planning & procurement, ensuring better alignment on forecasting, timelines and cost.
* Align product decisions with commercial realities and operational constraints.
6. Leadership, Culture & Talent
* Act as a role model for Kave's values, consistently embodying them in decisions, behaviours and leadership.
* Build and lead a high-performance product organization across all functions.
* Strengthen team culture: ownership, collaboration, humility and high standards.
* Attract, develop and retain top product, design and engineering talent.
* Promote a culture of curiosity, craftsmanship and continuous improvement.
7. Business Co-Pilot
* Act as a key partner to the CEO and executive team, bringing product perspective into strategic decisions.
* Ensure product implications are clearly understood in key decisions on pricing, expansion and positioning.
* Balance long-term product vision with short-term business needs.
* Act as a guardian of product quality and coherence across the organization.

Experience
* Extensive experience in product leadership within the furniture and decoration industry.
* Proven track record managing end-to-end product development, from concept to industrialization.
* Strong experience working with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
* Experience in international, fast-growing environments is highly valued.
