About the role

We are looking for a Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing facility in Pinto. The site is a strategic part of Kerry's Integrated Technologies network, producing a diverse portfolio including dry beverage blends, chocolate and protein powders, dairy agglomerates, emulsifiers, and both sweet and savoury seasonings for leading global and local foodservice, retail and industrial customers. Following the retirement of the current Plant Manager, we are looking for a leader to build on the site's strong foundations and support its future success. As part of a global organisation, you will combine local leadership with collaboration across international teams and functions. Reporting to the Integrated Technologies Manufacturing Cluster Lead, you will be accountable for all aspects of site performance, including safety, quality, production, people, service and financial results.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Pinto, Madrid.

Key responsibilities

* Lead and develop the team, creating a positive, high-performing and engaging workplace culture.
* Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental standards.
* Deliver operational excellence across production, quality, maintenance, planning and supply chain activities.
* Develop and execute site strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
* Lead business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency and customer service.
* Manage site budgets and performance metrics, ensuring delivery of operational and financial targets.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across a matrix organisation.
* Collaborate with regional and global teams to share best practices and implement group-wide initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
* Support talent development, succession planning and leadership capability building across the site.

Qualifications and skills

* Substantial experience gained in a senior level operations role, ideally with a Supply Chain background
* A people-first leader who creates a safe, inclusive and high-performance culture, develops talent and inspires teams to achieve ambitious goals
* Proven track record of successfully leading and sustaining change in fast-paced manufacturing and multinational environments.
* Continuous improvement experience
* Languages: fluent in Spanish and English
* Experience of active strategic input
* Ability to clearly identify bottlenecks within a manufacturing process, capable of quickly interpreting and "owning" the process and able to extrapolate the detail
* Highly KPI orientated - capable of achieving over and above expectations, use the information to create further business growth/development.
* Customer orientation - realisation of who the customer is, strives to over deliver in all areas and experience of delivering change across the business.
