"Data & Performance" mission is to foster Group strategy execution leveraging data as an enabler for performance management.
The "Data" streams focus on building and enhancing data foundations, work to connect data, break data silos in order to share one single & trusted version of data across the Group. Our ambition is to raise the overall Data Maturity of Schneider strategic.
The "Performance" streams aim at leveraging this data environment to define, enhance or revisit the performance models and publish related power metrics.
Within that scope Data & Performance has launched the "Schneider Electric (SE) Intel" application which leverages SE's new data lake aiming at providing data to all layers of the organization meeting their different content needs: Excom (strategic insights), BU & Ops leaders (transversal & granular), countries & entities (local and granular) and across functions.
"SE Intel" application is expected to have up to 10,000+ users.
Mission
The "SE Intel Business Product Owner" mission is to define the product, orchestrate the content, drive implementation, deploy and manage the life cycle of the SE Intel application. He/ She is accountable for its readiness, its adoption, and its quality.
The main 3 challenges relate to project & stakeholders management, technical part (BI tools & data management) as well as the promotion of the product as a showcase of what Data & Performance can deliver both from a data and performance standpoints.
The "SE Intel Business Product Owner" reports to Digital Performance VP within Data & Performance / Governance.
What will you do?
* Strategic objective
* Translate high-level requirements into use cases and detailed user stories that ultimately convert into specific performance overviews based on power metrics.
* Be the expert user of SE Intel and showcase its capabilities
* Development & RUN
* Define SE Intel roadmap based on stakeholders and users' needs including laptop and potential future mobile app versions and including all data sets developed and run by Data & Performance or other key stakeholders (franchised models)
* Prioritize backlog considering the strategy, roadmap, stakeholder needs and technical priorities
* Define & organize the content to make it easily available to each user, considering the users' profile
* Ensure excellent user experience (including design, access rights, seamless navigation) whatever the user's profile
* User Experience (UX)
* Manage a team of UX designers, analysts, engineers and testers to design and launch new features in SE Intel, catering to user needs.
* Implementing best-in-class principles of UX to ensure good interaction design experience is at the core of every new feature development (web features/ dashboard releases)
* Adopt & ensure best-practice design principles in SE (Quartz) are systematically applied to dashboard content across SE Intel.
* Innovation
* Collaborate with Technical Product Owners, consultants & other organizations in SE to identify and leverage technologies to ensure SE Intel continues to innovate in areas such as AI for data analytics, improved performance for the overall application
* Influence and convince stakeholders (sponsors, team members, technical team & users) to move in the same direction to secure resources & execute according to a defined roadmap
* Security
* Ensure data security and optimize & automate the management of access rights (data security vs user experience)
* Scale the access rights management logic design to consider several complex combinations and aspects of global referential, considering confidentiality and PII ratings
* Data management & Referential campaign
* Ensure ONE data layer for all content
* Drives systematic data flow automatization from data source to data layer and into SE Intel Web Portal
* Team & User community management
* Direct management of a team of up to 7 headcount (of which 2 are dotted line) and indirect program management of entire team of up to 40+
* Transversal management of development squads (stream leaders, data analysts, data ingestion experts, Tableau experts…), SE Intel Communication leader & UX User Support and Security teams.
* Work closely with the technical product owner to ensure smooth technical evolution of the platform either transparent to users or providing increased user experience over time especially on tool performance or with the addition of new capabilities such as search engine, data combination engine, quality status engine……
Experience & Skills
* Masters' degree in technical field
* Schneider Electric Business acumen: offers, execution models, channels, customers….
* Schneider Electric Performance framework acumen: financial reporting in depth
* Prior experience as a Product Manager in high-tech product.
* Prior experience in data environment & data analytics
* Project management & experience with Agile methodology
* Leadership skills to communicate to top management (Excom level) and leaders
* Experience in working with global teams and different types of functions / users
