See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Grade: 6 Position Overview: This role will serve as the lead for lamination training in main lam, cruiser lam, and small parts lam. This role will include, but not be limited to, onboarding and developing new lamination employees, teaching lamination quality standards, proper application, techniques, material terminology, tool usage, and chemical safety. Responsibilities will include developing training plan, developing new lamination employees, and performance evaluation. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions: Leads new lamination team members by example, establishing expectations for safety, quality, housekeeping, and job performance Welcomes, teaches, trains, and develops new lamination team members Monitors & develops performance in terms of quality & proficiency Participates in 90-day evaluation / onboarding process with supervisor Utilizes Excel and other computer-based tools to track trainee progress, maintain training records, and report training outcomes Maintains and delivers both hands-on and classroom-based training using PowerPoint presentations and/or visual aids to support lamination processes and standards Teaches safe & proper use of lamination tools Teaches proper material application techniques Teaches proper terminology and use of various lamination materials Teaches safe material handling & cleanup techniques Teaches standards as written in the lamination best practices quality standard Teaches lamination equipment set-up, calibration, and operator PM Teaches safety & housekeeping expectations Creates and updates digital training materials, including presentations, SOPs, and tracking tools to support onboarding and ongoing development Participates in vendor audits Other tasks as assigned Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required Qualifications: 10 + years of lamination or manufacturing training experience Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Strong computer skills with the ability to use digital tools for documentation, communication, and training support Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Leadership experience preferred Knowledge of skin, bulk, finish, and bracing processes Strong knowledge of all lamination materials and proper application Knowledge of lamination equipment set-up, calibration, and use Knowledge of Lamination Quality Standards & Best Practices Must possess strong teaching, coaching, and development skills Ability to hold others accountable while treating all team members with respect Must show high levels of patience, possess a welcoming personality, and be able to build trust with new team members Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Must be flexible and show the ability to multi-task, and remain organized Must be able to adapt to changing requirements in a positive and proactive way Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels within the organization Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business. Willingness to obtain formal composites & lamination training Working Conditions: Must always possess the desire and ambition to work safely and report all hazards to their Supervisor immediately Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc. Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, standing, etc., with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to understand all safety related document and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment. The pay range for this position is $25.90 to $28.43, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
