Junior DevOps Engineer We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer with a strong software engineering foundation to join our team. In this role, you will help build, automate, and scale our infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, passionate about automation, and eager to apply modern DevOps best practices to enhance our software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Help design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments. - Manage cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. - Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline operational tasks. - Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve system design/scalability. - Participate in infrastructure planning and system architecture discussions. - Respond to infrastructure incidents and perform root cause analysis. - Document systems, processes, and procedures for shared understanding. Requirements: - Solid understanding of software engineering principles. - Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure). - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline). - Proficiency in scripting (modern languages and shell). - Basic knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker. - Excellent reasoning abilities with a methodical approach to troubleshooting. - Strong written/verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies. Preferred Skills: - 2-3 years experience as a Software/DevOps Engineer. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CDK. - Understanding of networking principles and cloud security. - Exposure to system design concepts and architectural patterns
