Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Engineer in Athens within the Smart Infrastructure Buildings area as Technical Sales Support Professional to provide advanced technical support, commissioning assistance, application expertise, and pre- & after-sales support for the Siemens Buildings digital portfolio, with primary responsibility for:
* PAVA (Public Address & Voice Alarm)
* CCTV and Physical Security Systems
* Building X cloud platform and applications
* Siemens IoT portfolio and connected building solutions
The position acts as the local technical support for customers, partners, and internal sales teams, supporting the successful deployment, integration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of digital building technologies.
Your Challenge
* Take ownership and provide technical support for the Siemens Buildings portfolios of PAVA, CCTV and Physical Security Systems, Building X cloud platform, and IoT solutions.
* Act as a Technical Ambassador to Headquarter.
* Diagnose, clarify and resolve hardware, software, networking, cloud, and integration-related issues.
* Support customers and partners in system configuration, implementation and commissioning activities for Building X, Siveillance, and PAVA projects.
* Support sales teams with system architecture reviews, technical proposals preparation and technical clarifications.
* Support planners in preparation of technical solutions design and specifications.
* Deliver training for customers, partners, and internal teams.
* Validate system functionality and compliance with local standardizations and project requirements.
* Collaborate with regional and global portfolio teams on roadmap adoption and market deployment.
* Collect market requirements and constantly observe relevant competitors' products, solutions and services.
* Maintain knowledge databases, troubleshooting guides, and support documentation.
* Support cybersecurity best practices, user management, and cloud connectivity.
* Design and troubleshoot IP-based architectures.
* Participate in customer presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
* Develop technical materials, FAQs, application guides, and best practices.
* Identify service and digitalization opportunities.
What you need to bring with you
* University degree in Electrical, Automation , Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field
* Proficiency in Greek and English language (spoken and written).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience in customer-facing technical roles.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
* Customer-oriented approach.
* Receptiveness to acquire and use knowledge about digitalization trends and always stay updated with them.
* Team collaboration ability across engineering, service, and sales organizations.
* Ability to work in a changing environment
* Passion to never-stop growing
* Respect and appreciation of each person's uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
* Experience of 1-3+ years in Building Automation, Security Systems, IoT, Digital Buildings, or Technical Support.
* Experience in IT Technology.
* Knowledge on Cloud and APIs.
* Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting complex systems

For apprenticeship contracts, the indicative gross total annual salary range is between EUR34.000 and EUR36,600, depending on the candidate's educational background. The apprenticeship program includes defined salary steps: compensation increases progressively based on seniority and the acquisition of skills, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL).
