Overview HUNGARIAN/ENGLISH SPEAKING SEO SPECIALIST - FREELANCER (Junior - Medior) Location: Remote (Hungary-based preferred) Availability preferred: 20 hrs/week Languages: Native Hungarian + Fluent English Experience: 2-3 years Type: Freelance / Contract-based We are looking for a Native Hungarian and English-speaking freelance SEO Specialist to support our multinational SEO team across Hungarian and international clients. This role is suited for someone with a solid foundation in SEO who can reliably execute across core areas, while contributing to a broader, strategically driven SEO setup. Scope of work: You will contribute to ongoing SEO activities across multiple markets, including: Executing on-page SEO improvements (metadata, structure, internal linking) Supporting content optimization through keyword research, search intent analysis, and content recommendations Conducting competitor and SERP analysis to identify opportunities Assisting with technical SEO topics such as indexation, crawlability, and site performance Contributing to SEO audits and identifying optimization opportunities Supporting performance tracking and translating data into actionable insights Working across both Hungarian and international projects, in collaboration with senior SEO specialists and cross-functional teams What we're looking for: 2-3 years of SEO experience (agency experience is not a requirement) Native Hungarian and Fluent English (written and spoken) Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and how they translate into execution Experience working with standard SEO and analytics tools Ability to work independently in a structured, multi-client environment Analytical mindset with attention to detail Interest in AI, SEO trends, and continuous learning This role is focused on strong execution with growing strategic understanding. You won't be expected to lead or mentor, but you will be a reliable contributor across multiple SEO disciplines, supporting both Hungarian and global clients.
