Description du poste:

Catalyx is seeking a Project Finance Analyst to join our team and work on our customer site in Longford. Who We Are: Catalyx is a machine vision and automation company that integrates technology and people to help global manufacturers and logistics companies achieve next-generation levels of quality and throughput. For over thirty years, the minds behind Catalyx have been at work maximizing operational processes across highly regulated industries by inventing new technology applications and supporting companies with technical experts. With 9 global offices, over 550 team members, and 3,000 projects under our belt (and counting), we have the capabilities and reach to solve unique process problems at scale - and the vision to keep doing what's never been done before. For more information visit www.catalyx.ai . The Role: Catalyx is seeking a Project Finance Analyst to join our team and support a growing portfolio of large-scale construction and engineering projects. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you will work closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and senior leadership to ensure strong cost control, accurate reporting, and proactive financial management across the project lifecycle. Responsibilities: Own the financial view of assigned projects, maintaining clear visibility of cost, cash flow, and margin performance at all stages. Work directly with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors to challenge costs, assumptions, and financial forecasts. Monitor project performance against budget and contract value, identifying risks early and driving corrective action. Support applications for payment, valuations, and financial close-out activities across projects. Build and maintain robust cost reporting, aligned to how projects are actually delivered on site - not just how they look on paper. Prepare monthly project financials including P&L, WIP, and margin tracking, with clear commentary on risks and opportunities. Challenge CVRs and cost reporting with commercial teams to ensure accuracy and accountability. Ensure revenue and cost recognition reflects true project progress and commercial position. Support commercial decision-making on variations, change orders, and additional works, ensuring full visibility of margin impact. Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support tenders, pricing, and negotiation strategies. Review subcontractor spend, procurement commitments, and supply chain costs to ensure alignment with project budgets. Identify and flag financial risks across projects, including cost overruns, delays, and contractual exposure. Support governance, controls, and audit readiness across all project financials. Maintain clean, auditable records to support project reporting and final account close-out. Act as a true business partner to site and project teams - translating financial data into practical, actionable insight. Support project review meetings with clear, commercially focused reporting. Drive financial awareness across teams, ensuring cost ownership sits with those delivering the work. Contribute to improving how project financials are tracked, reported, and forecast as the business scales. Support development of reporting tools, dashboards, and system improvements across finance and commercial functions. Requirements: Experience in project or commercial finance within construction, engineering, or a similar delivery-driven environment. Strong understanding of how projects make and lose money - including WIP, revenue recognition, and cost control. Experience working closely with Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, or commercial teams. Advanced Excel skills, with confidence working across ERP or finance systems. Strong analytical mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple live projects. Why Join Catalyx?
