Primary Function :

The Training & Document Control Lead is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement of the organisation's training and documentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* The primary responsibility of the Training & Document Control Lead is to manage the Training and Document Control function, ensuring it operates efficiently and meets all customer and business requirements.

* Lead a team of Quality Engineers & Training Specialists supporting the quality system.

* Make improvements to the quality system ensuring site compliance is strengthened and regulatory requirements are met.

* Present and communicate status updates and reporting metrics, identifying trends, potential issues, and improvement initiatives, as applicable

* Ensure area of responsibility and processes are always audit ready and all audits are supported from a resource and information request perspective.

* Support internal and external audits as Area SME.

* Support the implementation of upgrades and new releases of document management and training systems to meet evolving business needs.

* Cultivate a high performing team by developing employees and enabling their continued growth and advancement in the organisation.

* Build and maintain effective cross functional relationships with all areas of the business.

* Maintain an appropriate balance of quality, compliance, and business risk. Provide compliant yet practical solutions that minimise the impact of Quality issues.

* Identify and implement initiatives for continuous improvement of the Quality System.

* Provide divisional level support and guidance as SME for area of responsibility.

* Ensure effective communication and leadership to management and other staff on training and document control issues.

* Ensure approaches to Quality and Compliance are consistently applied within the business and across the Division

* Responsible for leading the development and maintenance of Quality System procedures which are applicable to area of responsibility.

* Present and communicate status, report metrics, identify trends potential issues, improvement initiatives, as applicable

* Provide divisional level support and guidance as SME for area of responsibility

* Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Years Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree: BSc/BEng scientific, NFQ qualification in related discipline or an equivalent combination of education & work experience.
* Minimum 5 year's experience in a Quality/Regulated Manufacturing or Science environment preferred.
* Candidate must be self-motivated with exceptional organisational and communication skills.
* Work within a team environment
* Involvement with ongoing Department and site wide projects.
* Membership of Cross Functional Teams as part of continuous improvement opportunities.
